From Halcyon Rise to Halcyon Rise x 2
The goslings have grown. The adults used to surround them protectively, hissing and threatening if we came close. Always something new at Lake Tygum. A good small circuit to add a km or so.
A feature of our morning rides has been watching the birdlife. Pelicans, swans and their cygnets, geese and goslings - heaps of water fowl of all kinds.
Also a large brown snake hunting along the rocks, and a beautiful red bellied black snake- all venemous and best admired from a distance.
