Hugo

This strong, funny, happy little man will be a teenager next week. This was our reality when he was just a baby. This was a long time ago for our family, but there are so many families living through this reality right now. Although he bears the scars of this time in his life and has endured surgeries, pneumonia, chemotherapy and many months of being confined to a cot in isolation wards, Hugo is now just like any other teenager with all the challenges that come with that. We love you babe, and consider ourselves very lucky to still have you with us. Some parents are not so fortunate.

My Story

This October, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Because right now, cancer is the largest single killer of children from disease in Australia – over 700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year and sadly, 3 die every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

And so I am riding and raising funds to support the Children's Medical Research Institute to continue their work into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
